Grainger Engineering Library patrons can make purchase
suggestions by filling out a form at the reference desk or by
contacting Mary Schlembach.
Building Tours
Grainger Engineering Library offers tours of the library by appointment only with a miniumum of 48 hours notice. Please
contact Barb Bolser for more information.
Engineering Workstation Laboratory
The Engineering Workstation Laboratory is located in 57 and 4th floor center
Grainger. EWS is available to Engineering students with an EWS account.
Hours of operation are the same as the Grainger
library. Each workstation is a stand-alone computer with its own
disk drive, memory and CPU, as well as file and resource sharing
capabilities.
Grainger Computing
Public computer terminals are available throughout the building. Most provide access to information resources, including the online catalog, article databases, and the Web. By floor, locations include:
Lower Level- near the west stairwell (1)
First Floor- in the current periodicals room (2) and reference desk area (12)
Second Floor- near the east and west stairwells (1 each)
Third Floor- near the east and west stairwells (1 each)

In addition, there is a cluster of public computers at the east end of the first floor that require an Active Directory Password for access. These computers provide access to the web, email, and several other software packages including Microsoft Office.

Finally, Engineering Workstation Labs are located in the basement and on the fourth floor for use by Engineering students. Click here for specific information on the EWS lab machines.
Conference Room Reservations

Conference rooms are available upon request by College of Engineering faculty, students and staff only. Absolutely no food is allowed unless it is authorized in advance.
Group Study Rooms are also available to students on a first come/first serve basis. There are twelve group study rooms located on the west side of the fourth floor of Grainger. A group must consist of at
least two people. Two rooms are available to College of Engineering groups only by advanced reservation only.
Writer's Workshop
The Writer's Workshop is in Room 402. Click Here to schedule an appointment
Writers Workshop hours are Tuesdays 1 p.m.- 5 p.m., Wednesdays 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., and Thursday 2 pm - 4 pm during Fall and Spring semesters.
Walkup Computing
